The assault caused the partial shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Officers detained a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several people injured by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
